For most kids, thinking about their high school graduation day brings a sense of freedom and excitement. But for students in foster care, entering their senior year can often be filled with feelings of anxiety, unpredictability, and fear. Fortunately, our high school students can breathe a sigh of relief as they enter the realities of adulthood, thanks to our collaborative partnership with the YMCA Independent Living Program.
Today, thousands of children suffering from the effects of abuse and neglect are eligible for our services. Treehouse makes a difference in their lives by helping with school, fulfilling key material needs and paying for extras that are, for most kids, just a regular part of growing up. Read more
