Congratulations Graduates!
Passages, a graduation event for foster kids who are earning GEDs, high school diplomas and college degrees – and who are aging out of the foster care system – a drew graduates and the people who care about them to Safeco Field on June 7th for an emotional and joyous celebration. Seattle Times columnist Nicole Brodeur says she went to Passages “because I needed to see that something was working, that good things happen despite the odds.” She got what she came for.
Treehouse co-sponsored Passages, along with Casey Family Programs, DSHS, the Mockingbird Society, YMCA Transitions and YouthCare.
