Seahawks are Champions for Foster Kids

The Seattle Seahawks, the Paul G. Allen Foundation, and Treehouse partnered for the 2008 football season.  Over 100 Treehouse volunteers sold game day programs and the Seahawks donated the proceeds to Treehouse.  The Paul G. Allen foundation matched the donations and foster kids were the winners. 

This unique and inspired program raised over $27,000 for Treehouse and foster kids.

  • In a Washington state study, only 59% of youth in foster care enrolled in 11th grade completed high school by the end of 12th grade.
