Educational Advocacy Workshop
Educational Advocacy trainings help caregivers address the unique educational needs of youth living in out-of-home care. These interactive workshops are presented by parents to parents. Some of the topics covered are: Roles and Responsibilities, Childhood Development, Special Education, Enrollment Issues, 504 Services, Graduation Requirements, The McKinney-Vento, Homeless Assistance Act, Discipline Issues, and Testing.
