Summer Camp

Summer camp memories last a lifetime

Paddling a canoe right out to the middle of the lake. Whispering to the kid in the next bunk after lights-out. Summer camp is a chance to get away from it all, make new friends and just be a normal kid for one unforgettable week. Camp introduces positive role models into otherwise difficult lives and gives kids – and foster parents – a much-needed respite.

Foster Care Fact

  • In a Washington state study, only 59% of youth in foster care enrolled in 11th grade completed high school by the end of 12th grade.
